Desmond Reid

Born in Jamaica, Desmond Reid Desmond grew up in the kind of Adventist home where Ellen White wasn't just respected — she was Scripture. Her books lined the shelves. Her counsel was followed religiously.

He spent years studying Seventh-day Adventist theology. He wanted to defend his faith. But questions nagged at him quietly for years. Eventually, he found answers, but not the ones he expected.

"I wasn't looking to leave," he says. "I was looking for reasons to stay."

What began as personal research became a passion that he wanted to share with others. Desmond has a special interest in Ellen White's racial statements.

Because he values protecting his family from discrimination and personal attacks from cult members, he writes under his pen name.

“History becomes dangerous when cults lose their ability to control it.”

Lydia Sanchez

Lydia Sanchez grew up in an Adventist home where Ellen White was enthroned. Her writings shaped what the family ate, how they dressed, and what decorations appeared in the home.

She had an Adventist education, led women's ministries, and gave out Ellen White's books the way some people give out business cards — convinced she was doing God's work.

As she studied health, she began to realize Ellen's health counsel contradicted many things that modern medicine had learned. She didn't go looking for doubt. Doubt found her.

Lydia writes about Ellen White's influence on women, her health teachings, her prophetic claims, and the cost of asking questions inside a community that discourages them. She writes from Argentina under a pen name, protecting her family and personal relationships.

“A false prophet thrives in a vacuum of information.”

Our Mission

EllenWhite.Wiki exists because questions deserve answers. For millions of people raised in the Seventh-day Adventist tradition, Ellen G. White was not merely a historical figure — she was a prophet. This site was built by those who once believed that, and who understand what it costs to ask hard questions inside a community that discourages them. We are not here to attack faith. We are here to examine the historical evidence. We choose to present it clearly, fairly, and without the filters you find on other sites. If you are searching, you are welcome here. If you are doubting, you are not alone. The truth about Ellen White is not hidden. It has simply never been this accessible.

Neither this web site or any of the authors have any association with the Seventh-day Adventist Corporation. This is a web site dedicated to unfiltered access to information about Ellen White.
